Alison Pill

Pill started out in Canadian films, but took a while to break into market share in the American market. Bruce Gray starred on an episode in the Canadian show Traders. Pill obtained a spot on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, and Michael Ensign, in the episode "Would If, Maybe, But Shoulda" that was written and co-starred by Naren Shakar. Pill has worked as a character on Picard for about a year later appeared as a secondary role in Devs, a science fiction miniseries that was produced by FX Productions and Hulu. She played the same role, Katie, in each episode just as she did in Picard. It was apparent that the similarities to Picard do not stop there since the central theme the show was also made clear to focus on the survival of consciousness in an artificial construct, like the one Data was preserved within, which was revealed at the time in the Picard season one's conclusion "Et at Arcadia Ego Part 2".
