Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained some fame. Calvano has a family in California she was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. She later chose to become an actress. On CBS's show "NCIS", she debuted in 2010. In the biographical crime-drama film J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen few months later. She was one of the top young actors to be seen in the following several years. In 2011, she received an award nomination to the Young Artist Award, Best performance by a Young Actress in a Television Series for her role in the show "NCIS". In addition, she was nominated in 2013 for an additional Young Artist Award, this time for her appearance as a guest on the comedic show of Disney XD "Kickin' it". Calvano appeared in a number of episodes of "Mom" in its 4th season. She was a main role in the initial three seasons of the series. Her outing in 'Mom' earned her the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
